چکیده

This paper presents the application of a distributed-framework basin modeling system (DFBMS) in Taihu Basin, China. The concepts professional systems and integration/coupling have been summarized first three series papers. study builds hydrologic hydrodynamic model for which is lowland plain areas with numerous polder areas. Digital underlying surface area data agree survey results from water resource development utilization. runoff generated each cell was calculated based on digital data. According to hydrological feature units (HFU) concept DFBMS, Basin conceptualized into six different HFUs. basic rainfall, evaporation, elevation (WSE), discharge, tide level, resources consumption discharge 2000 were used calibrate model. simulated WSE matched observed well. 1998, 1999, 2002, 2003 validate model, good agreement simulation results. Finally, simulate evaluate management scheme diversion Yangtze River Lake. Overall, DFBMS showed performance proved that proposed structure effective reliable.

Modeling Microtopography in Basin Irrigation

Microtopography has long been regarded as a key variable affecting basin irrigation performance. This paper reports on the extension of a flat bed two-dimensional basin irrigation model to the simulation of irrigation events in basins with microtopography. The model incorporates the local surface slopes in the x and y directions to the governing set of partial differential equations. Three fiel...

Application of Machine Learning Approaches in Rainfall-Runoff Modeling (Case Study: Zayandeh_Rood Basin in Iran)

Run off resulted from rainfall is the main way of receiving water in most parts of the World. Therefore, prediction of runoff volume resulted from rainfall is getting more and more important in control, harvesting and management of surface water. In this research a number of machine learning and data mining methods including support vector machines, regression trees (CART algorithm), model tree...
